Dear Parents, Carers and Friends

Paired Reading

Every Thursday and Friday tutor time a group of 50 (mainly Year 7 and some Year 8) students engage in paired reading activities with sixth form students.  Originally planned for one day, the scheme has proved so popular that it is now held over two sessions.

The scheme, organised by Michelle Harvey, will allow the students to work together for a large part of the year and build up a long-term working relationship.  It was lovely to walk into the library at tutor time today to see how well the students were working together; it was a fantastic atmosphere in there.
