Dear Parents, Carers and Friends

Another good Thursday in August with GCSE results today.  The results overall were very good with many students achieving fantastic personal success and many attaining outstanding sets of qualifications. There are more details and photographs in the local press but I will include one extra photograph here.

Work within the school has carried on as it does every holiday. As well as a lot of cleaning of carpets and furniture, we have the ongoing work to widen access at the bottom of the stairs near English 1 and the refurbishment of the smaller music room.  Hopefully all completed by the time term starts!

Reminders:

Term starts for all students on Wednesday 4th September.

Year 7 come in a day early, and meet in the assembly hall at 12 noon on Tuesday 3rd September.

Year 13 also come in Tuesday morning at 9:30 to register for their courses and the new Year 12 (last year’s Year 11) come in at 1:20 p.m. to enrol on their courses.
