Dear Parents, Carers and Friends

Excellent A level results day and really pleased for all the students who have done so well. There are some pictures in the local press and a longer write-up.

Meanwhile there is much work going on in the school to make it ready for the new year.  The pictures below show the demolition work going on at the pinch point outside English 1 and the refurbishment of Music 1.  Music 1 will now be a dedicated computerised music suite where all students from Years 7 to 13 will be able to use keyboards connected to computers running music editing software. The upgrading of Music 1 has been enabled by a generous grant from Lady Lumley’s Educational Foundation who continue to support the school for the benefit of the students here.

Hope you are enjoying the summer (despite the slightly disappointing weather).
